Aufgabe:

Review and analyze the request by the customer (RFQ) or the public bid to ensure best fit of Nidec solution to RFQ or the bid. Prepare the sizing and technical configuration of the BESS as well as detailed cost estimates including equipment, materials, labor, and subcontractor costs, utilizing pricing databases, supplier quotes, and historical project data. Develop the technical and economic proposal for turnkey solution of BESS. Collaborate with procurement and vendor teams to obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, ensuring competitive pricing and availability of equipment and materials. Prepare and present technical presentations and proposal documents to clients, addressing their needs, demonstrating the value proposition of the proposed BESS solutions, and effectively answering technical queries. Liaise with Sales Headcount to define value proposition in the region. Interact with corporate engineering, R&D and purchasing department to evaluate cost and technology and to select partner and suppliers. Support Legal Department and Sales Headcount the definition of the scope of supply and contractual conditions (product warranty, system warranty, EPC performance warranty, project schedule). The position will be required domestic and international travels as well as frequently meeting in the Nidec ASI plants/branches involved in the PV&BESS business.

Qualifikation:

Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal engineer or sales engineers in utility scale renewable energies EPC projects; Proven experience with power electronics, ISO standards and interacting with utilities, IPPs and project developers. Experience with TSOs, DSOs, DoE, DoD will be beneficial. Proven experience to work in multinational environment. High level of commitment and responsiveness Demonstrated teamwork skills Strong analytical ability Proven expertise in grid scale BESS application, PCS and Power Management System Proficiency with computer programs/software (Microsoft Office)
