The Impact You-ll Make in this Role

As a(n) Product Engineer Hardware you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Performing and guiding approved self-initiated or assigned programs of major importance to the assigned organization leading to and/or supporting innovative applications and extensions of new and existing technologies, products and/or businesses.
  • Leading adaption of design of devices for dental application according customer requirements and industrial standards
  • Leading life cycle management of electrical devices.
  • Specifying technical requirements with vendors.
  • Testing electrical devices and parts on function and safety (internal lab, external services).
  • Interacting with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory functions.
  • Filing technical reports and certificates.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor-s Degree or higher in hardware design, electrical engineering

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Ability to work and communicate within expert teams and within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Full working English and German language proficiency

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Provides job experience in relevant industry.
  • Demonstrates project/program management experience.
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) and systems proficiency

Work location:

  • Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Seefeld at least 3 days per week)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
