• You manage complex projects and provide consul­ting services in all areas of opera­tions (for example in production, logistics, planning and main­tenance).
• Your consulting is characterized by strategically relevant projects in our operating companies, inter­actions with the manage­ment teams and the identifi­cation of long-term supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.
• Your responsi­bilities will also include leading cross-site projects to increase profitabi­lity and productivity, as well as optimizing production processes. As part of inter­national project teams, you will indepen­dently manage projects from conception to implementation and ensure their sustain­ability through regular perfor­mance evaluations.
• You will play a key role in the Supply Chain Excellence team and ensure that the team is consis­tently focused on customer needs, quality and efficiency.
• Using an entrepreneurial approach, you will actively drive the concep­tual develop­ment of the Heraeus-wide Supply Chain Excellence approach.
• Coaching employees from our operational business units will also be part of your responsi­bilities.

• Successfully completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in field of supply chain manage­ment (SCM), engineering, economics or equivalent
• Several years of experience (at least 4 years) in strategy consulting focused on Supply Chain, ideally in one of the top strategy consult­ancies
• Profound knowledge of production and production-related areas (e.g. production planning and control)
• A high degree of indepen­dence in the elaboration and develop­ment of new topics relevant to us, as well as a strength in actively promo­ting these topics within the organi­zation.
• Willingness to work in an evolving environment and collabo­rate across multiple business areas and employee groups to achieve common business objec­tives
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delive­ring projects within defined time­line and budget
• Fluent in English and German both in written and spoken
• Willingness to travel up to 75 % inter­natio­nally on a project basis, also over several weeks
