- Management of the Finance & Accounting team in Germany to effectively support the globally operating entities
- Ensuring service quality, process efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate financial policies and deadlines
- Ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing (local GAAP and IFRS)
- Being a strategic counterpart for the management team to develop the business with a long-term perspective
- Support the preparation and management of the annual budgets for the business
- Ensuring and taking an active role in the acquisition of potential additional companies and its subsequent integration
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field. Master’s or MBA preferred
- 8-10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting including leading teams
- Experience in an industrial company or in a leading auditing or consulting firm (e.g. E&Y, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG)
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, etc.)
- Experience in working with multinational teams or in a global matrix organization
- Good understanding of the business of an industrial company in the area of product / component business
- Business acumen and very good problem-solving abilities
- Private location in the Greater Ulm area / Bodensee region or willingness to relocate
