PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of power electronic devices and components for use in the wind power sector and in EV charging technology.
- Conceptual design, circuit development, component dimensioning of electronic circuits in the field of power electronics, embedded microcontroller systems.
- Defining technical requirements, e.g. functional specifications and technical documentation for the assigned development tasks.
- Analysing electronic requirements from specifications and standards.
- Testing prototypes, carrying out tests and analysing test results.
- Commissioning, verification and validation of power electronic circuits and components in the electronics laboratory.
- Analysing test results and causes of failure and developing proposals for solutions
- Support in analysing causes and identifying problems with existing devices.
- Creating test specifications and test protocols for a smooth transition between development and series production
- Support and planning of laboratory tests and certifications (e.g. EMC tests)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience
- Successfully completed engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering, ideally specialising in power electronics, automation technology or control engineering
- Knowledge in the field of drive technology
- Your German language skills are at native speaker level and you also have a good command of English.
- Experience in the development and testing of power electronic components and circuits
- Knowledge of circuit design and simulation
- Experience in the field of EMC
