Major Account Executive (m/f/x) - Unified Observability Platform
Direct Sales
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute account plans to maximize revenue potential within a portfolio of 4-6 enterprise named accounts.
- Retain and expand usage with existing customers, while driving new logo acquisition within the account pool.
- Consult with VP- and C-level executives to develop and implement effective enterprise-wide strategies that maximize the value delivered by our client.
- Generate market velocity through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account-specific initiatives.
- Develop a robust contact network within named accounts and channel partners to ensure broad and effective sales.
- Collaborate closely with functional areas, including sales engineering, marketing, legal, finance, and other lines of business, to develop and execute solution strategies that meet customer business needs.
- Ensure successful customer implementations.
Your Qualifications:
- Proven track record in enterprise software sales.
- Demonstrated experience in nurturing and expanding business relationships.
- Enjoy expanding revenue in large strategic accounts.
- Thrive in high-velocity situations and can think/act with urgency.
- Top-notch organizational and communication skills.
- Motivated and tenacious self-starter consistently delivering high performance against quotas, driven by VP- and C-level relationships.
- Ability to manage sales cycles within complex organizations, while compressing decision cycles.
- Outstanding communication (written and oral), negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong collaboration skills across all supporting resources within sales to maximize effectiveness and advance the sales process.
- Extensive experience with consultative selling methodologies in managing complex sales cycles (e.g., Challenger Sales, MEDDIC).
- APM experience is a plus, but not necessary.
- Fluency in English and German is required.
